With many distinct profiles and exceptional vinyl strength our siding assures you long lasting beauty virtually maintenance free.
Vinyl siding is the most popular choice for remodeling or new construction. It delivers the warm, quality appearance of wood without the costly, time-consuming maintenance and repairs. Vinyl won't split, peel or rot. And because its color goes clear through the panel, it never needs to be scraped, stained or painted. Three unique styles are available in steel siding to reflect the natural grain of traditional wood siding. All styles are available in a wide variety of contemporary colors which allows you to coordinate your home's exterior with our steel fascia and PVC-coated aluminum soffit. HARTMAN EXTERIORS installs only top quality vinyl siding products offered by the industry best manufacturers such as Alside, Alcoa, Gentek, Revere, and Rollex. These products are manufactured with proprietary designs and ingredients to deliver greater durability, rigidity and wind resistance, and more attractive, fade-resistant colors. Maintenance? All you need is a garden hose to keep your siding looking great for years to come. The "profile" of a siding is its shape or contour - the height and depth and number of ridges it has. Each profile catches the light differently and produces its own style of shadow lines. Each style will make your home look slightly different. There are three unique styles available in steel siding. |
• Traditional Clapboard • Dutch Lap • Vertical Board and Batten |
Vinyl Clapboard siding is available in several profiles including: Double 4, Double 4 ½”, Double 5, Double 6, Straight 6 ½ and Straight 8. Dutch Lap is available in the Double 4 and Double 5 profiles, and Vertical Siding is typically manufactured in a Single 12” Profile consisting of a 10” face and a 2” Batten. As you might guess, a "double 4" clapboard is 4" deep from ridge to ridge. “Double” means that 2 ridges are combined in a single panel for more efficient installation. |
